This lappet cap is my ABSOLUTE favorite! Most lappet caps are huge and non flattering. However, this18th century lappet cap is delicate and does not consume your whole head! This historically accurate paper pattern was created by Goodwives Linens and is appropriate for impressions dating 1750-1770. The paper pattern includes directions plus information on constructing the cap with period appropriate hand stitching methods.

This pattern is best for someone with an intermediate level of sewing skills, who already has a basic knowledge of pattern following and hand sewing techniques.

This listing is for a paper pattern with instruction booklet and NOT a finished product! The pattern may not be reproduced or distributed without the written consent of Goodwives Linens, LLC. Caps made from this pattern may not be made for resale without the written consent of Goodwives Linens, LLC.
