These white and brown handwoven, linen apron ties are replicas of originals, pictured in ‘Rural Pennsylvania Clothing’ by Ellen Gehret. Measuring 1/2” wide, these ties can be purchased as a set of two 37” individual ties or a single long 3 yard tie.The original apron was made of windowpane checked linen and had one long tie running through a self gathering casing at the waste. The original apron is in the Collection of the Chester County Historical Society.
