The once daily task of cooking with fire has been replaced with the conveniences of microwaves and electric ovens.  Step back in time and experience the way your ancestors prepared food.  You'll learn a new skill and be more prepared for the next power outage!

This class will introduce you to 18th and 19th century food ways as you prepare an Early American meal with the guidance of an experienced instructor.  Once you taste food cooked on an open hearth, you may be hooked on the old art of cookery!

Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty and an apron if possible.  All other materials will be provided.  If you have a food allergy, please let us know when you register.
